7:00 AM - 6:00 PM Archaeology Day - Lowry Center - Lobby, Lowry Center - Main Lounge, Lowry Center - Tabling
The Archaeological Student Colloquium holds this National Event every year. It is a national event held every October to highlight archaeology and what is happening in the field. On campus, our group sets up stations in Lowry to give the public a general idea of what archaeology is. This event is open to all students, members of the College, and the Wooster community. We have flint-knappers, potters, and professionals in the field from around the state.
1:00 PM-4:00 PM CWAM, The Ocean After Nature - Ebert Art Center - College of Wooster Art Museum
The exhibition The Ocean After Nature considers the ocean as a site reflecting the ecological, cultural, political, and economic realities of a globalized world through the work of twenty artists and collectives. Using a wide variety of media, this international group of artists explore new ways of representing the seascape and critiquing the vulnerabilities of our ecosystems.
The Ocean After Nature is an exhibition curated by Alaina Claire Feldman and organized by Independent Curators International (ICI), New York. The exhibition is made possible with the generous support from ICI's International
Forum and Board of Trustees.
